Headlines are important to web content because they help to grab attention and encourage readers to click, and improve SEO ranking. A strong headline helps to create curiosity, making the reader want to know more about what’s going to happen. The headline helps to promise value by clearly saying what the reader will gain.
Reason why I clicked on this headline is my curiosity, I would like to know what the deep shocking secrets are in the headlines and what the family found out about these secrets. And we talked about this in class that the headline that creates security people are more likely to click it, like me, the headline holds information, this helps to create a suspicion making it hard for the reader to not click on it. Another reason why people clicked on this headline is its intriguing secrets that are coming ot light. As said humans are curious creatures, we are naturally drawn to the mysteries. just the idea of some dying thing that they carried their secrets with them is quite funny and mysterious, the headline promise, values, and these values are the secrets. The fact that the headline said that these secrets were dark, so this can only mean that the secrets are really bad, they have an emotional trigger making my thing of maybe it family baytral and maybe a criminal past just knowing that theses people think that no one would ever know what they did while they were alive trigeers suspense and tragedy and the major twist is that heses secret got out with this inn mind how can I possibly not clicked. Another reason why I clicked on. The number 15 I clicked on it because it was digestible to read, and it will be in a list order, and it won’t have to read a long story, but just 15 bite-size ones, a list will allow me to scan through quickly
In conclusion, the reason why I clicked on this headline.:
- Because of my curiosity about knowing what these secrets are
- The fact that there are more than one story of different people
- It emotionally triggered me with fear, like what if this happens to me
- And easy to scan through and read
